Kallol was established and commenced operations as a trading company.
1986
Kallol became the licensee of Fay International Limited, United Kingdom.
1993
Expanded into the import and distribution of leading international brands including Cadbury, Kellogg’s, Perfetti Van Melle, Parachute, Lakmé, Nestlé, Sara Lee, Godrej, and Baygon.
1996
Entered the retail and distribution business of internationally renowned watch brands.
2005
Acquired the well-established detergent brand Jet along with its manufacturing facility.
2010
Strengthened its international partnerships through the formation of joint ventures:
Kallol Thai President Foods (BD) Limited with Thai President Foods PLC, Thailand.
Jyothy Kallol Bangladesh Limited with Jyothy Laboratories Limited, India.
2012
Acquired Kawachi Detergent & Chemical Industries Ltd.
2013
Acquired the iconic Aromatic and Camelia soap brands along with their manufacturing facility.
2015
Entered into a technical collaboration agreement with Lion Corporation, Japan.
2022
Formed Lion Kallol Limited, a joint venture with Lion Corporation, Japan.
2025
Established Kallol Peerapat Limited, a joint venture with Peerapat Technology Public Company Limited, Thailand.
2026
Began importing and distributing RK Blades “Pro Edge” double-edged razor blades in Bangladesh.
Alongside, Kallol’s manufacturing and joint venture operations continue to strengthen the Group’s portfolio through strategic international sourcing and partnerships.
The Group imports and distributes Nutri-C Instant Drink Powder from Indonesia.
Under OEM business arrangements, Kallol imports and markets a range of products including Jet Liquid Detergents from Thailand, Fay Air Fresheners from Indonesia, and Fay Cotton Buds, Cotton Pads, and Cotton Balls from Thailand.

With 88 outlets strategically located in leading shopping malls and international hotels across Bangladesh, TIMEZONE has established itself as one of the country’s most trusted destinations for premium watches and writing instruments.
Complementing its strong brand portfolio, Kallol operates an extensive nationwide distribution network covering all 64 districts of Bangladesh for FMCG products and 21 districts for watch products, enabling the Group to serve consumers, retailers, and business partners across the country.

In the years 1993, 1994 and 1996 the Bangladesh Government, through the Ministry of Labor & Manpower, awarded the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Ghulam Mostafa as CIP (Commercially Important Person).
In 2007-2008, Kallol was acknowledged and rewarded for being the highest Tax payer in the business category both in national and district levels.
